Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Bedford Park, IL to provide reliable security services with fixed shifts and flexible opportunities to earn more through additional shifts. The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and adherence to site policies at a logistics location.

Qualifications

Customer service experience or aptitude for interacting with clients and visitors.
Experience with basic security procedures and incident response is a plus.
Ability to perform regular patrols and monitor access points.
Background checks and drug screening are required by policy.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, package-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify credentials or authorizations as required, and maintain logs of visitors, deliveries, and incidents.
Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
