Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Clinical Incident Response in Baltimore, MD. This part-time enhanced role offers fixed anchor shifts at an assigned site and flexible extra shifts through our scheduling platform. Earn additional income by picking up more shifts, with potential to grow toward a full-time schedule.

The position emphasizes healthcare-site procedures, emergency response, and reliable, consistent hours, with pay of $18.50 per hour and a path to more shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe facility activity, assisting with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and reporting of unauthorized entry concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
