Pay rate is $18.50 per hour. The position emphasizes patient, visitor, and staff safety in healthcare settings, with training provided and room to grow within a national security leader.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Ability to restrain individuals.
• Must be 21 years or older; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe facility activity, assisting with visitor directions, access-control procedures, and the reporting of unauthorized entry concerns.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
