Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Arlington, VA. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the ability to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, designed to earn more and gain experience across sites.

Pay rate is $21.75 per hour with a schedule that includes DayTime or Night shifts. Candidates must meet minimum requirements such as a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening where permitted.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic computer/tablet use is preferred.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology office by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate logs, and communicate relevant information to leadership and client contacts.
