Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Albuquerque, NM. This role offers reliable, consistent hours with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while supporting a leading security provider.

Responsibilities include customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors; regular unarmed patrols of facilities and grounds; monitoring access points; and responding to incidents with calm, problem-solving

Qualifications

Guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.
A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, visitors, and researchers while following security procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures; report irregularities and maintain documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies with calm, problem-solving actions and notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.
