Job summary

Allied Universal® in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced. This role offers fixed anchor shifts at a designated site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, designed to supplement income and build experience.

Pay rate is $19.45 per hour with day and night schedules. Ideal candidates have at least one year of security experience, a valid license, and comfort using a computer or tablet; background checks and drug screening

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and report per procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report concerns.
• Document patrols and incidents and communicate with leadership and site contacts.
