Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Yerington, NV. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with six‑month commitment and additional pick‑up shifts through our scheduling platform, letting you increase earnings while gaining experience across sites.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of armed security or related experience, a high school diploma, and the desire for flexible, dependable hours. Pay is $22.00 per hour with opportunities to scale up hours as needed.

Qualifications

• At least one year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required as per law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses at a government location.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas, documenting observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with the orderly flow of authorized personnel and guests.
• Complete incident reports and logs accurately and promptly.
