Allied Universal® in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Armed Security Officer – Training Center for part-time Enhanced coverage. The role offers fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, providing reliable income and a path toward full-time hours up to 40 hours per week.

Pay rate is $20.34 per hour. Candidates must have at least 1 year of armed security experience, an armed guard card, be 21+, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out security procedures at a government location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation of patrols and incidents.
