Job summary

Allied Universal in Reno, NV is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, site-based coverage with flexible hours and opportunities to earn more through extra shifts.

The role includes armed security duties, fixed shifts (anchors), and the option to pick up additional shifts. A minimum of 1 year armed guard experience and a high school diploma are required, plus background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed guard, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Background checks and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an industrial electronics location.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of building interiors, exteriors, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points, visitor and contractor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Maintain reports and logs, and handle equipment per laws, training, and company policies.
