Job summary

Allied Universal in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to join our team. This role offers fixed shifts with anchor scheduling and flexibility to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM schedule. You will perform security procedures, patrol interior/exterior areas, monitor access, respond to incidents, and maintain logs per site requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify site contacts or responders.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs as directed.
