Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, checking credentials as directed, and documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle information in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and promptly reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicating observations involving facility operations, property conditions, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
