Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part‑time Security Officer – Enhanced for our Atlanta, GA site. You will provide security, customer service, and incident response while building experience in a leading facility services company.

The role offers flexible anchor shifts, options to pick up additional hours, and a clear path toward a full schedule. Minimum requirements include 2 years security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• Hold CPR certification; preferred.
• Hold CPR and First Aid certification; preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience; preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and maintain awareness of activity at the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
