Allied Universal in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide customer service and security at a designated site. The role features Fixed-Shift Anchor Shifts with a six-month commitment and optional additional shifts through our scheduling platform to boost earnings.

This part-time position offers income stability, hands-on security experience, and a potential pathway toward full-time work.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to follow site-specific policies and procedures.
Willingness to work part-time shifts and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe the location for unusual activity, reporting security-related concerns and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, visitors, and responding public service agencies.
