Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Management in Chicago, IL. You will provide reliable security services at an assigned site with the option to take additional shifts.

Pay rate: $19.75/hour. Schedule: Sat 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM. You can earn more through the scheduling platform and potentially move toward a full-time schedule up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles; background check required.
• Drug screen required; licensing may be needed by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and building staff.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain access logs.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, controlled manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, entrances, docks, parking, and perimeter.
• Document daily activities and observations per site requirements.
