Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced for a part-time role in Daytona Beach, FL. This position offers reliable fixed shifts and flexibility to earn more by taking additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include customer service, unarmed patrols of the retail site, monitoring access points, incident response, and reporting to supervision as needed. A minimum of 1 year security experience and a HS diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document observations and communicate relevant information to supervision and site representatives.
