Job summary

Allied Universal in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Reporting to provide reliable security services at a fixed site with flexible hours. This role offers a fixed anchor shift, the ability to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour; maximum 40 hours per week possible.

Responsibilities include customer service, unarmed patrols of the facility, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and maintaining incident

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify site contacts and responders.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
