Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer at a distribution center in Boise, ID. You will manage access-control, greet and assist visitors, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and operations.

As a part-time role, the schedule includes day and overnight shifts. The position pays $17.50 per hour and requires age/education, background checks, a drug screen, and state licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify credentials, manage visitor/driver access and document activity.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises including perimeter, parking and loading zones.
• Maintain logs, reports and incident documentation and communicate with leadership.
