Job summary

Allied Universal in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Emergency Readiness to safeguard government facilities and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment. You will monitor, patrol, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers flexible day/evening shifts, with pay at $16.43 per hour, and opportunities for training and career growth within a leading security services company.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
