Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver Entry Management in New Albany, OH. You will manage visitor access, monitor entry points, and support emergency procedures while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires a valid driver's license and familiarity with access-control procedures. You will patrol, log activities, and collaborate with site leadership to deter incidents. The schedule is DayTime Tue/Wed, with a pay rate of $20.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as part of employment.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to authorized areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
