Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in State College, PA, with an active DoD Secret clearance. You will provide customer service, patrol facilities, monitor access points, and respond to incidents, supporting a safe and compliant environment.

The role requires 18+ or 21+ depending on armed status and a background check plus drug screening where permitted by law. Pay is $27.00 per hour with a flexible day schedule.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required where allowed by law.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and follow security procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and report observations.
• Patrol technology and research facilities and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete reports and maintain incident documentation.
