Job summary

DK Security, Inc is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Bowling Green, OH. This role is not armed; weapons are not permitted on the premises. Pay rate is $18.00/hour.

Duties vary by contract, offering a diverse and challenging work environment. Responsibilities include customer service, observation/reporting, security presence, patrols, access control, and emergency response. Must meet age, education, drug screening, background standards, and certifications (CPR/First Aid/AED) or willingness

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening at time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must not have felonies or certain misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation, or weapons.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: assist client staff, visitors and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain a professional security presence in lobbies, reception areas, and control centers.
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols as required.
• Manage access control to restricted areas and verify IDs.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR/First Aid/AED as trained.
• Perform other assigned duties.
