DK Security, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer based in Twinsburg, OH. The role involves customer service, patrols, access control, and emergency response to safeguard client properties.

Position is not armed; weapons are not allowed on premises. Candidates should meet the minimum qualifications and be able to pass drug screening; federal compliance applies. Various day shifts 0700-1500 or 1000-1800 are available.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED
• Must pass a drug screening at time of hire and randomly thereafter (federal government contracting rules apply)
• Must not have felonies
• Must not have misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, or two or more alcohol offenses
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, including stairs, for 8-12 hours
• Must lift at least 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work)
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified
• Must see clearly at least 20 feet (with glasses/contacts)
• Must hear conversations in loud environments
• Must be able to use a smart phone or computer for emails/training
• Must read/write/speak English fluently
• Must be professional with excellent customer service
• Must have integrity and a positive attitude
• Must complete trainings on time and follow policies

Aufgaben

• Customer Service: Be a positive reflection of the company and yourself by assisting client staff, visitors, and coworkers, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Observe and Report: Stay alert and be on the lookout for any suspicious activities and incidents.
• Security Presence: Maintain a professional appearance and stand guard in and around building lobbies, reception areas, control centers, etc.
• Security Officer: Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of your assigned areas performing security officer duties as required.
• Access Control: Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas, check employee and vendor IDs, and follow proper access procedures.
• Emergency Response: Be ready and able to assist in emergencies, including CPR/First Aid/AED care and communicating with emergency personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
