Job summary

DK Security, Inc. seeks security officers to protect client properties and ensure a safe environment. The role emphasizes customer service, observation, and professional presence on-site.

Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident reporting, and coordinating with client staff. This part-time position on weekends offers a flexible schedule and requires compliance with all policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED per state requirements.
• Armed work requires 21+ and Michigan CPL or LEOSA card.
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• No felony convictions as per applicable statutes.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk 8-12 hours.
• Must lift 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Excellent customer service and integrity required.
• Complete trainings on time and follow client/company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist clients, visitors, and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or incidents.
• Maintain a professional security presence in lobbies, reception, and control areas.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as assigned.
• Control access and verify IDs to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Maintain safety and report hazards or incidents to site supervisor.
• Provide emergency response when needed, including CPR/First Aid/AED.
• Communicate with client staff and coordinate with site personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the client or supervisor.
