Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer for Customer Service and Warehouse Patrol in Hagerstown, MD. You will serve clients, shoppers, and store staff while enforcing site policies and responding to incidents.

The role offers flexible scheduling with shifts on Thursday evening, Friday day, and Sunday overnight. A high school diploma is required, customer service experience preferred, and a background check and drug

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Thur	04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Fri	08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Sun	12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
