Allied Universal, a leading security services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Store Patrol Coverage in Hagerstown, MD. You will provide customer service, patrol a retail distribution site, monitor access, and deter security incidents while maintaining a professional presence.

The role requires 18+ years of age, HS diploma, background check, and potentially a drug screen. Excellent teamwork and reliability are valued as part of the welcoming team environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Background histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, deliveries, vendors, visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; document observations and notify contacts or responders.
• Deters theft and unauthorized activity through visible presence and timely reporting.
