Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time CPR Preparedness Patrol) in San Jose, CA. You will patrol a residential community, monitor access, assist residents and visitors, and respond to security concerns while maintaining a welcoming environment.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule with weekend shifts. CPR/First Aid is preferred, a guard card or license is preferred, and a background check and drug screen are required by law.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors following site policies and safety procedures.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Document observations and incidents, communicating to site management and leadership.
