Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen visitors, packages, deliveries, and authorized personnel according to access-control requirements; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Monitor entry points and visitor activity, maintain screening and access records, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
