Job summary

Allied Universal in Spokane, WA is seeking a part-time Security Officer focused on badge administration. You will safeguard clients across Retail/Malls and other settings, performing access control, visitor verification, and incident reporting, with a flexible schedule built via our Claim a Shift platform.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, ability to use a computer or tablet, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, background check and drug screen required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors while enforcing site access procedures.
• Monitor entrances, verify credentials, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas and perimeters.
• Maintain logs and reports of access activity and incidents.
