Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) for the Brunswick, GA site. You will protect people and property, perform access control, and respond to incidents according to site procedures. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work with a supportive security team.

The position requires at least one year of security experience, a TSA TWIC, and a valid driver's license. You will use common tech devices to report activities and access control data.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• On-site facilities may include portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Subject to background investigation as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of vehicle storage areas, processing locations, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
