Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Systems Operator in Greensboro, NC to safeguard clients across multiple industries, including logistics and distribution. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and assist visitors and employees while providing exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes a visible presence, calm problem-solving, and adherence to site procedures, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour and flexible daytime scheduling.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access logs and/or visitor records.
• Screen and direct delivery personnel, contractors, and other authorized visitors in accordance with site procedures and vehicle-access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
