Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) for Access Point Operations in Wilkesboro, NC. Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain access records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, employee access points, and facility perimeter.
• Deter unauthorized access by observing activity and reporting irregularities.
