Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Groveport, OH. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, provide outstanding customer service, and support access control activities at a food and beverage production location.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and communicate with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeters.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting entries and security-related incidents.
• Support proper environment around production, storage, shipping, and receiving areas by reporting concerns to site leadership.
