Allied Universal in Chantilly, VA is seeking a part-time Security Guard with DoD Secret clearance to protect aerospace/defense facilities. You will monitor access, conduct patrols, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents calmly and according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives to maintain a professional environment.
