Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Falls Church, VA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor areas, and deliver excellent customer service to clients in aerospace and defense locations.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and a high school diploma or equivalent. A guard card/license and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred; background checks and drug screening will be conducted as required by law.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted per laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization per site procedures; document activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms; escalate to leadership and responders as needed.
• Prepare clear patrol/incident reports while maintaining confidentiality.
