Job summary

Allied Universal in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Patrol Driver) to safeguard tenants and visitors at a retail property. You will perform foot and vehicle patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism and calm.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and vendors as per security procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the retail property, including parking areas and entrances.
• Respond to incidents calmly and report to appropriate personnel with required documentation.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to enforce property rules and security procedures.
• Communicate professionally with management, tenants, shoppers, and emergency responders.
