Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents calmly and report to appropriate personnel with required documentation.

You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 12:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help support adherence to property rules and security-related procedures.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, shoppers, and emergency responders while providing directions and assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
