Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Driver Patrol in Carleton, MI to safeguard clients across tech, media, and telecom environments. You will perform patrols, monitor access, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid experience, and strong communication skills. Flexible shifts are available, with a paid hourly rate and opportunities for growth within a dynamic security

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in offices, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership and emergency responders.
