Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Guard/Patrol Driver in Carleton, MI. The role involves conducting routine patrols, guarding facilities, and providing excellent customer service to staff and visitors.

You will monitor access, report incidents, and maintain a visible presence to deter security-related issues. A valid driver's license and reliability are required; CPR/First Aid experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, parking areas, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, direct guests to destinations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
