Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver in Springfield, MA. The role offers a fixed anchor shift with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $20.50 per hour, with a daytime schedule from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Sunday on a rotating basis. This position emphasizes customer service, security procedures, and site-specific policies, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail location.
• Monitor access points and report security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment and document incidents.
