Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Boston, MA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with an option to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform to earn more, while providing security and customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors.

The position requires 18+ years for unarmed roles and a high school diploma, plus background checks and a drug screen. Compensation starts at $22.15 per hour with a stable, flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a residential property location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence.
