Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, and restricted access points to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations and escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, access issues, and other security‑related observations through clear and accurate reports.
