Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time in Harlingen, TX to provide reliable security services at a retail site. The role features fixed anchor shifts with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, helping you increase earnings while gaining experience.

This position offers part-time hours, a standard pay rate of $14.00 per hour, and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• A Texas Level III Armed Certification is required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and store team members with security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the site and deter theft.
• Monitor access points and document observations and shift activities.
• Communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
