Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Coverage in Houston, TX. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform for higher earnings.

This part-time position requires a valid driver’s license, is 18+ for unarmed roles, and includes potential for growth within a leading security company. Competitive pay is provided with benefits from the Perks Program.

Qualifications

• Customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients following site procedures.
• Regular and random unarmed patrols to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
