Job summary

Allied Universal in Cordova, TN is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Driver Entry Screening. You will support entry control at logistics sites, provide customer service, and help maintain a safe environment.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work a rotating schedule. The position offers flexible shifts through our Claim a Shift platform, opportunities to learn new roles, and a path for career growth with paid training.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain logs, and direct delivery personnel to check-in areas.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Document observations and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.
