Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Driver Entry Screening in Cordova, TN to monitor access points, provide customer service, and deter incidents at a logistics distribution site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and will involve a rotating DayTime/ Night schedule with a pay rate of $17.39 per hour. You will conduct access control and patrols while maintaining professional interactions with employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and being at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• Background check and drug screen are part of employment.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain logs, and direct delivery personnel to check-in areas.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking lots, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations and communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts.
