Job summary

Allied Universal in Sparks, NV seeks a Part-Time Security Officer – Alarm Dispatch Driver to support utilities locations. This role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work with a dynamic security team responsible for monitoring alarm systems, dispatching resources, and maintaining incident logs.

You will coordinate communications, monitor cameras and access systems, and provide responsive customer service. A valid driver’s license is required; driving positions require it by policy.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to utility location personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, cameras, and access systems; document calls for service and coordinate responses.
• Dispatch security personnel to incidents and service requests, maintaining clear communications.
• Prepare and maintain activity logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and shift handoff information.
