Allied Universal in Sparks, NV seeks a Security Officer Dispatch Control Driver. This full-time position serves and safeguards clients across utilities, coordinating communications, monitoring activity, documenting incidents, and supporting timely responses to security needs with calm, professional customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and involves a day shift schedule from 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM, with occasional weekends.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by policy.
Drug screen required as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures.
Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls, coordinate requests for assistance, and relay information to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow escalation protocols.
Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and records.
Conduct regular patrols of utility facilities and perimeters as assigned.
