Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Corporate Premises Patrol to safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location in New York. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and involves patrols, access control, and exceptional tenant service.

You will monitor entries, document security-related activity, and support a reliable, people-first team. A NY Security Guard license and high school diploma are required, with additional certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• NY State Security Guard License is required.
• Access Control/Badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and following procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property areas.
• Monitor building activity and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Document observations and communicate information to site management.
