Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Saturdays and Sundays from 3pm to 11pm to patrol the property, manage access, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Your duties include hourly patrols, enforcing rules, and assisting with events at Reston and Reston Station while coordinating with management on safety concerns. Virginia security certification and 1 year of customer-service experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be Virginia certified security officer.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and on weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrols of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce rules and issue banning notices as needed.
• Assist with events at Reston and Reston Station as required.
• Report safety concerns to management.
• Maintain plaza kiosks appearance and enforce plaza policies.
• Close loading dock doors when required.
