Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Administration to provide reliable access-control at a designated site and to support employee and visitor safety. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and maintain incident records.

The role offers fixed shifts with the possibility to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to increase earnings, and requires at least two years in security, a high school diploma,

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and transportation personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations.
• Document daily activities, access-control concerns, incidents, and irregular conditions in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
